Echo Buds Lose Bluetooth Connection
To resolve most issues with Bluetooth connectivity, close the Alexa app and place your buds in the case for 30 seconds.
Tip: For Echo Buds (2021 release, 2nd gen), make sure that the device was registered through the Alexa app first.
After you try each troubleshooting step, check to see if your Echo Buds are now connected to your phone.
- Make sure that your device is charged and your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
- Force close the Alexa app, and then launch it again.
- Turn on Airplane mode on your phone. Wait 45 seconds, then turn it off.
- Turn off Bluetooth on your phone. Then turn it on.
- Restart your smartphone.
- Factory reset your Echo Buds.
Make sure that your Echo Buds Charging Case is fully charged and your phone's Bluetooth is turned on. Otherwise, even if your earbuds are charged, they won't connect to your device.
