Locate Your Wi-Fi Password
To set up and register your Amazon device, you need to connect your device to a wireless network.

Finding Your Network Name and Password
- Check with the person who set up the Wi-Fi.
- Check the sticker on the bottom of your router.
- Check your router’s installation guide or the owner's manual.
- Check the wireless settings on a device already connected to your network.
Tip: Usually the network name is referred to as SSID and a password as a passphrase or key.
Android Devices
- Select and hold the Wi-Fi icon in the notification panel.
- Choose the connected network and select Settings.
- Under network details, there's often a Password option which gives you access to the details.
- Select Password to reveal the current Wi-Fi password.
Apple iPhone or iPad
- Go to Settings and then select Wi-Fi.
- Select the Wi-Fi network that you're currently using and then select Info.
- Select Password and use your password, Face ID, or Touch ID to unlock and reveal the password.
macOS
- Open the Apple Menu, select System Settings, and then select Network.
- Select Wi-Fi, then Advanced.
- Select More next to the network name.
- To reveal the password, select Copy Password.
Important: You need the admin password to reveal the Wi-Fi password.
Windows PC
- Open the Network and Sharing Center or Network settings.
- Locate your Wi-Fi network.
- Select the Wireless Properties or Security options for that network.
- Check for Show characters or Security key checkbox, and check it.
- The password is displayed in the Network security key or similar field.
Important: To access the password, ensure you log in as an admin.
If you still can't find the details, contact your internet provider or the person who set up your network.
